Solutions for aquaculture

Ísfell offers a variety of mooring solutions as well as a wide selection of rope, shackles and other operational goods for fish farming, as well as special equipment for mussels farming. We offer a wide selection of quality netting and rope as well as other necessary equipment for fish farming cages. We place a special emphasis on finding quality solutions for our customers. We are also agents for LiftUP AS and Polyform AS.

Fish farming cages and LiftUP

Ísfell supplies and services equipment which removes mortalities and other waste from the fish-farm cages to reduce the impact on the ocean environment. The system consists of sludge collection, hoses and chandlery, dewaterer, and air compressor. Further information is provided by our sales team in Hafnarfjörður.

Mooring

We have a wide selection of mooring solutions, other equipment is special order from Selstad. Selstad can perform analysis on the ocean floor as well as offer advice on what mooring solution is most suitable for the fish farm in question. Drawings and other supporting documents are provided at request of the customer as well as the results of the mooring analysis. All of the mooring equipment is NS9415 certified.

Development and testing in material selection is important. Our manufacturers meet all the requirements, rules and standards that are in force at any given time. All cages are marked with origin and certified according to NS9415. The cages are accompanied by a user manual and risk and size analysis.
