Ísfell is the only company in Iceland that is a member of LEEA (Lifting Equipment Association).

LEEA is an international association of parties involved in some way with lifting and hoisting equipment. The association includes designers, manufacturers, dealers and inspection and repair companies of such equipment. Since the association was founded almost 7 decades ago, LEEA has played a key role in training employees of companies that inspect lifting equipment as well as shaping the standards that are in force. LEEA has also been involved in legislation and safety issues for lifting equipment.

In order to obtain a certification from LEEA, Ísfell has demonstrated that we work to the highest standards for hoisting equipment, for example regarding traceability and that there is the correct space and equipment to perform inspections.
