Ísfell is the only company in Iceland that is a member of LEEA (Lifting Equipment Association).

LEEA is established across the world as the leading trade association for all those involved in the lifting industry. The members work in every aspect of the lifting industry, from design, manufacture, refurbishment and repair, through to the hire, maintenance and use of lifting equipment. The Association has played a key role in this specialized field since 1944, from training and standards setting through to health and safety, the provision of technical and legal advice, and the development of examination and licensing systems.

In order to obtain a certification from LEEA, Ísfell has demonstrated that we work to the highest standards for hoisting equipment, for example regarding traceability and that there is the correct space and equipment to perform inspections.
