Safety helmet – GeckoHead
Gecko is the result of years of development and research focused on integrating head safety with protection against wind, cold, and noise. Gecko has worked closely with the industry and rescue organizations to design the perfect head protection.
Many years of experience in the UK, Iceland, and many other countries have proven the value of Gecko, as the helmet’s features have held up well against Icelandic weather conditions
- Outer seals made of Kevlar
- Weight only 700g
- Inflatable “Rub Resistant” inner liner, with an external valve to adjust to head size
- 15mm padding inside to increase cushioning on top of the head
- Ear protection which can be removed or replaced with more powerful insulation
- Easy to add a communication solution (clips into the helmet)
- 12 years of experience in Icelandic conditions with rescue teams and on fishing vessels
